Learn the building blocks of floating as you practice and learn how to integrate core and shoulder stability through breath, bandha and drishti. This is the key to strong, stable arm balances, keeping you progressing towards a powerful flowing Yoga practice.
This is an all levels class as Blair teaches you clear anatomical alignment for the shoulder, elbow and wrist joint complexes— essential for any Vinyasa Flow practice. You will also learn a step by step process to activate core stability which is also essential for arm balancing and all Vinyasa practices.
I remember back in 2006 when I was first starting Vinyasa Yoga; I was doing whatever it took to get into all these different kinds of arm balances, only to aggravate or sometimes even injure my wrists or shoulders. Until one day, I found a teacher who shared some key alignment points and how to progress and stabilise in order to hold essential postural alignment. I have since refined and added to this essential tool kit for arm balances and would love to share this with you in this master class.
